...boo, humcat !

question : what do 5 black cats mean to me ?

answer : MJ, Frick, Frack, Rex & Scout...
all looked alike [short black hair...]

[this is MJ (Midnight,Jr...named for his daddy...]

for days before & after Halloween...I had to keep them "in"...
just to be safe...

even Piglet, who is black & white came to me just before Halloween...
abused and near death because she was mostly black...

the evilest thing MJ would ever be guilty of...
might involve a jack o'lantern...

there are evil cats...

well...NO...not that kind of evil...
just selfish... narcissistic...vane...
in other words..."feline"...

I've always resented the way stupid people...
attribute all sorts of human foibles to felines...

I often would be a cat, if I had to wear a costume...
I have a "cat hat"...someday... you may see it...

of course... some people "project" themselves...
and their interests on their cats...

not only dressing them for the season...
but as someone they would like to be...
[Harry Pottybox ?]

I think that cats & Halloween should be taken in "moderation"...

something like this... festive...decorative...
and not likely to give some moron the notion...
that injuring a cat is a "seasonal activity"...

I had a black cat once too (my beloved Sasha, who was my buddy for 16 years) and I always kept her in and worried around Halloween. I try to be kind in thoughts and deeds to everyone, but cannot fathom how a sentient being could do those sorts of things to a defenseless animal. It puts that person in a "sub-human" catagory, in my book.

Hope your "procedure" goes well - just keep thinking "not again for 10 years!"

Arrgh. I missed the post about "the procedure," but I know about the, "not again for another 10 years." I love the concept of, "not again, ever." I think I've passed the half-way point between my first and my second. I am desperately wishing they'd invent a better "prep" in the meantime.

...you said a mouthful...
and since they found a polyp...
I probably won't be getting to wait 10 years... yuck...

the prep/recovery is WAY worse than the actual thing...
