this greeted me at 0-dark:30 this AM...
as I stood, shivering in the chill...
waiting for Molly to pee...
a "smiling" quarter moon...
it reminded me of something else...
that crazy cat...
who leaves in stages...
until only his smile remains...
judging from the chill in the air...
and the damp on the lawn...
I'd say that smiling moon is the last little bit of summer...
then...
*poof*
