...WHEW !

this morning...around 8:30...
I did what I had been told to do...
I called in to the Dr's office for my results...

my routine colonoscopy had resulted in the discovery...
and subsequent removal of a "peanut sized polyp"...
the Dr had told me it didn't look cancerous...
but I've learned to be apprehensive...
whenever the word biopsy, is used re moi...
[having a malignant melanoma will do that to you...]

the nurse took my number and told me that the Dr came in later...
and that they would call me...
with the biopsy[there's that word again...]results...
later in the morning...

I sought my calm center... found Him...
and continued on with furniture moving 101...

finally, around 12:45 PM...
with Molly pestering me for her midday ramble...
I called the Dr again...& got the machine...
"office closed for lunch until 1 PM..."

so I hung up...centered my calm...
assured God that I knew He had everything under control...
and I would hear from the Dr in His time frame...

then... the phone rang...

it was the Dr's office...

she said that the Dr said that my results were normal...
the polyp was benign [a lovely word...]
and that I would need to have another one in 3 years...
[routine if they find anything...]

WHEW !

what a relief !

I thanked God, picked up my camera, called Molly...
and we went out into a very bright & shiny world...
for a nice long ramble through the neighborhood...

I really enjoyed taking these pictures...
I hope you all can feel the life affirming power in nature ...
as you walk with us, around our "neck of the woods"...

enjoy...

God is good...all the time...
