...Mackie update, 4.0

today, I overslept...

I think that the combination of concern for Mackie...
along with several other things...
as well as the malingering "on again/off again" virus...
that hit me hard a week ago...
combined to make me "dead to the world"...
since about 9:30 last night...

so when I awoke this AM... saw the back yard filled with light...
heard the the doggy "discourse" from the LR/DR...
I knew it was late...and it was...almost 9AM...
[I generally wake up around 7:30...]

so I got up & got dressed...& greeted the critters...
eager to see how Mackie was...

he wasn't waiting with the milling herd...
that's not his style anyway...

so I called...and in he came, moving easily...

he came to a dish, stood waiting as I emptied cans...
and dug into his favorite...
he was still eating when Molly & I left for our walk...

when we returned...he was in the sun, snoozing...

I called to him, he, ever suspicious of impending meds...

did get up and look carefully to see if I was "armed" with his meds...

finally deciding that I had no "evil" agenda...

he decided to display his "cuteness" & melt my heart...

it's so good to see him feeling SOOO much better...

God is so good...ALL the time...

and thanks for your continued prayers...
'cause we may be out of the woods...
but we aren't home yet...

Oh no, I think I am becoming a "cat person!" Just looking at all the pictures of your kitty kats and reading about them has made me realize how very, very sweet they are! And Mackie's cute meter is off the charts! You take absolutely great pictures! Did you learn from MM or did she learn from you??

...I've always liked taking pictures...and took a lot with a SLR Nikon, back in the day...even b&w... but when it came to dealing with the digital camera,I must bow in deference to MM, the maestra...
she gave me a lot of good advice & tips...
it helps that she was also using a Canon, so she was really ahead of the Canon fuzzy logic...
and could step by step explain "Macro" to me...

so, yes...I learned from her... :D
