...it was a chilly, rainy afternoon

so after doing the chores...
taking out the trash, putting out garbage cans...
cleaning cat boxes & hauling in wood...

well, most of them...haven't done the dishes yet...

I have the green beans in final "cook down" mode...
where I remove the lid...and let the liquid cook down...
concentrating the flavors...& making a sauce...

for a large batch, it can take several hours...
but it's worth it...

I also have camera batteries charging...

I have an extra of each...
& want to have fully charged batteries...
in both cameras for tomorrow...

but for now...

we're all in the LR...
half asleep in front of the fire...

well...most of us....

they touched noses, like boxers touch gloves...
and it was "on"...

what you don't see, because they were blurry...
are the shots where Lucyfur was swatting at Molly...

who deserved it, because she was "nosing" Lucyfur...

hoping for a rise & a play chase...
which didn't happen...
[no fool, Lucyfur...]
she has her warm spot just as she likes it...
all to herself & she's NOT leaving it...

Thomas is showing off his paws...

Sneaky has claimed the fuzzy red bed...

and Murphy is "out" for the afternoon...

I need to take Molly on a walk...
she didn't want to be out in the rain earlier...
but we need to go now, before it gets darker & wetter...

when we return, there's an NCIS marathon on TV...
a warm rocking chair...
and a big bowl of popcorn with my name on it...

sounds like a plan to me...

What beautiful pictures of a sweetly animal filled and blessed life. Just how many cats are there, anyway????? I love the shot of Molly looking right at the camera. :-) Joyce

I am intentionally hazy on the total... since the city "allows" 3...

Happy Holidays to you & yours...
