...adventures in macro [et al...] images 1.0

I've always loved taking pictures...
I've never formally studied any aspect of photography...
so I just do what pleases me...

since I've come to blogging...
I've discovered some photographers...
whose art always takes my breath away...
and on different levels...for different reasons...

it's been a while since I've seen any of MM or MrGT's skyscapes...
but they have always inspired me...
Mrs GT[aka Miz Minka] also does amazing things...
with a simple digital camera and that hardest essence of all to capture...
the cat...and it's many moods...

I am absolutely in awe of Paula's nature studies...
I would love to have the equipment & skill...
not to mention the eye, she has for the smallest bits...
of God's creation...

armed with deeper insight and some very helpful tips from MM...
I went "macro shooting" today...
[I know...some images were not in macro mode...
so, bite me... I like them anyway...]

enjoy...

[BTW:all tips and helpful comments appreciated...
ie "you suck"... NOT helpful...
and just plain mean...]

Very nice!

Umm, and to give credit where credit is due: I took those sky pictures (if you're talking about the ones on my blog), the Mr. was too busy mowing lawns. He tends to take pics of shrubbery. :) But thank you, either way.

...correction noted... now I'm even more impressed...:O
[macro AND panoramic skills !] ;D

perhaps I'm misremembering some sunset pictures you showed me last fall... that I thought you said he took... must have been the same day I couldn't find the paint rollers I never bought...[wink,wink...]

I just remember that they took my breath away...:D
