and sleuthed out the source...

if you read the comments below the pictures...
many think that this is a hoax...
or at the least cruelty...
[considering the amount of damage
that an annoyed feline can do to someone
who makes the mistake of scritching a fuzzy tummy...
the question of "cruelty to whom" might be raised...]
of course, there are always some who find it funny...
[may they attempt a tummy scritch on Sneaky Pie, Lacy or Minka...]

Wrong, yes - but I agree with the hoax theory. Cats would have to be anesthetized to be painted like that.
too bad that the people who dreamed this up weren't anesthetized first...
I really am disturbed that someone "got" a book out of this... perhaps encouraging others...
