...everything new, is old again...

ah... the good old days in the old bathroom...
of strolling in, only to find my "new" roll...

now, empty...

courtesy of...

Sneaky, Sneaky Pie...

who was strangely "absent" today when I found this...

yes...that pile of unrolled TP IS yellow...
[3 guesses... what...& whom...]this is the 4th time...
that "someone" has marked their territory...
[I've been keeping the shower door shut...
and SPie is pissed...literally...]

so she left her "calling card" here too...

always a full roll...
at least this time she only unrolled part of it...

so after I cleaned up the mess...

and re-rolled most of the roll...

another same old, same old...

Mz Cagney... wanting a drink...just like in the old bathroom...

cats...

Never had a cat that marked, so, sorry, can commiserate but can't suggest options. All mine were blessedly anal (!) about using the litter box.

Now, the tp unrolling - I had one cat that enjoyed that more than anything in the world. It wasn't malicicious, just great fun!

Fauctet drinking too - we had a special variation of that. My husband started using the little 3 oz. Dixie bathroom cups to give my former cat Sasha a drink in the mornings when he was getting ready to go to work. "People water" we called it, and laughed that she wanted to drink from his cup. Well, after a while, she ONLY would drink "people water" and we had to leave a cup on the vanity for her. Those cups get soggy pretty quickly, so a puddle and a mushy collapsed cup on the vanity would often greet us when we got home. Oh, well, it was just about her only foible and she was my great buddy through some tough times, so we coped. If the worst Mz Cagney asks is for a faucet sip, that's not bad.

Now, the marking - conversations would have to ensue! Does Sneaky mark inside the shower, if it's accessible? Or is it just because she can't get in? Maybe if you left the shower door open a crack for a few days she would see what it is and decide it's no great shakes, and leave everything alone.

...when left to her own devices with the old tub...SPie pooped in it every chance she got...
the main genesis of my stubborn insistence on a solid shower wall with a swinging door was to stop the cycle of, clean up cat poop, THEN use the shower...
she's currently having a "territorial imperative" contest with Cagney... who because she likes to drink from the faucet, also likes to lurk in the bathroom... if it continues, I'll keep the door shut...but for now, it gets cold in there, so I've been keeping the door open...
before the shower wall/door were installed, she peed a couple of times on the shower floor...once even before it was sealed... so she's not going to be allowed in the shower at all...
