a highly coveted spot for feline slumber...
until about a month ago...when Molly arrived...
and made it her catbird seat...
the first time I saw her there...
I was picking up the mail, looked up...
and saw her sitting in the cat nest...
wiggling all over with anticipation...
the cats have deserted it ever since...
[it's more the fireside type of weather now anyway...]
so I've seen this sight often...
[whenever I've been gone in the car for a bit...]
but this time... I took my camera...
the second part of the video...
finds a rotten dog, flaunting a purloined cat food dish...
[it was empty...but still lick able...]
& BTW... she has moved her nest on top of a floor furnace grate...
I move it off....she moves it back on...
it has become routine...
like retrieving the cat food plates from her nest...
and the feint at Lucyfur is "play"...
I've seen it dozens of times now...
if the feline in question stands their ground...
it'll be "game on"...
but that hasn't really happened much yet...
and though Sneaky Pie is "close"...
she still retreats to lurk on the back of my chair...

BTW... did I mention that she's only started moving it SINCE the heat's been on ? [you taught her well...;)]
