...another walk in the park...

they said that it would clear by 10 AM...
I don't think so...
since I'll be gone in the middle of the day today...
I wanted to take Molly for a long walk now...



and she, of course is always ready to go to the park..



dark & gloomy skies still can't keep the fall color from glowing...



not as misty as I've seen it...



but we have more low clouds than fog...



and the light breeze across the wet ground...



was chilling...and brought down a flurry of leaves...



it had been very still as we entered the park...
but now some people were coming to mark out...
their football field for their Turkey Day game...

and then, there were the dogs...



barking on the far side of the lake...
and then coming into Molly's "comfort zone"...



after calming her...
we went on our way...



across the lip of the bowl and down onto the street...

turning towards home, we would encounter a number...
of people with dogs [at least 5 big ones...]
headed towards the park...
so I'm thankful we went early...
