this rose bud has escaped that fate...
this rose is hosting some fauna...

through my bedroom recently...
I almost had to get flat on my stomach for this shot...
almost... but NOT quite...
I attracted Mackie's attention while locking the door...
this is through a wavy [dirty] 80 year old window...
the grouping of roses in front of my LR window...
this rose was way up over my head...
I had to look through the viewfinder, "from a distance"...
I love the way they came out...
[especially if you click on them to enlarge them...]
fallen leaves...on bright green grass...
only in NorCal...
street scene...
worth the wait...
UnkelPhil's liquid amber tree is really "turning" now...
the south side is dark red...
the north side is still yellow...
I'm enjoying the leaves while I can...
one good storm...and they'll all be gone...

when I was in Europe, both times ...
everything we saw was "click-click"...
[aka photogenic... but then you already KNOW that about Germany, France, etc...]
it's NOT as LOL as "blah-de-blah"[*snort*]...
but it IS expressive...
