I got myself to the vet's early[beating the Sat.AM rush...]
Mackie is doing better...but isn't eating yet...
[he IS kind of finicky...]
his ears are still yellow so to make sure...
that he has the best chance of recovery...
he's staying at the vet's & on the IV until Monday...
N, the tech who looked at him said he was a bit grumpy...
he must be feeling better then...
on Thursday evening he was out of it...
and on Friday morning, he thought he was going home...
so now he's in a cage...& pissed off...
but I'm going to be busy today & tomorrow...
I don't want to come home and find that he's crashed again...
every bit of IV he gets helps his liver get flushed...
so he's stable, improving slowly...
but still at the vet's, on the IV & not eating, yet...
[they are offering him a special diet...
which may be why he's not eating...yet...
if he gets hungry enough...he will...]
so he's in the best place for good care...
God is good...ALL the time...

I have been watching your posts and wishing the best for your Mackie. It's so terrifying when they get sick - it's always so sudden. Take care, and best wishes for you all.
