...I'm always fascinated by the "up close" pictures...looking through a microscope was always a let down because of my glasses...I had to take them off and then the image was never clear...besides giving me a headache...I felt that I was missing out... so I love taking "macro" pictures...
Where did you get a pear that perfect? And the strawberries (actual RIPE strawberries - ours are never really ripe and sweet). Here, east of the Mississippi, our produce selections always seems to look a little worse for wear. We definitely need to live closer to the growing regions.
...well the pear came from Chile... my favorites are Comice...so juicy... the strawberries are ripe around here now...the result of a warm winter... these were from Costco[Salinas] and could have been a bit sweeter... the local strawberries are amazing... really ripe...so red & sweet... the blackberries were from Mexico... I used to have vines in my backyard & they were ripe in May...but they really take over... having grown up on a ranch...I just can't eat fruit or tomatoes that aren't "ripe"...
