Mz Fluff, age 18...
beloved companion of Piglet & Catsinger...
passed away quite peacefully at home...
she was sleeping next to me with her head on my right arm...
Piglet was on my left...
around 11:15, she began some fairly mild muscle spasms...
I got up, sat next to her...
and petted her as she just drifted off...
she flexed a couple of times...
and just drifted away...
by far, the most peaceful passing I've ever seen at home...
I was going to take her to be put to sleep tomorrow...
in the end, she had it her own way...
tomorrow, I'll lay her in the garden she loved so much...
thank you, Jesus...
for 18 wonderful years of the "Fluffinator"...
and for taking her home so easily & quickly...
God is good...

she failed very fast... stopped eating normally on Sat. AM...
she barely ate or drank after that... got weaker & spent her final few hours snuggled next to me... then just slipped away...
such a blessing for us all...

over these past years I truly felt like I KNEW Fluff! Her passing makes me sad but there is also joy that she lived such a long life and that her passing was so peaceful and quick. We should all be as blessed as Fluff...to be loved and nutured and then die snuggled to up to one we love! Thank you for sharing her with me...with us!

she was special... I was "putty in her paws" from the moment a student brought her to me at school to prevent her Dad from, "getting rid of her"... she was smuggled on the bus in a candy box... and from then on, she was "the Queen of Everything"...
