...TEST RESULTS ARE IN!

the test results came in...
and they are good!
no indications of kidney or liver failure...
almost all factors are well in normal ranges...
& the couple that are a bit high or low...
are explainable when you consider she was not eating enough...
and was dehydrated...

I got the news @ 3:30 when I returned to Mudville...
from a l-o-n-g day driving MsYB to "Browntown"...
(new governator for CA)...
the fog was THICK when we left at 8:30 AM...
the drive up I5 was not too bad...
but with the waiting, it was a long day for both of us...

I got back so late that I just went on over to the vet's...
Steph, the cheerful tech, asked if I got her message(I hadn't...)

since they were busy, they put me in a room to wait for the vet...
I checked my voice mail...
and there was her message that,
"Piglet is fine & good to go home..."

I was stunned...

so I waited... finally the vet came in with the printout of the test results...
explained them to me...
said there weren't really any critical issues...
since she was eating AND LOUDLY COMPLAINING TO GO HOME...
so they gave her a steroid shot...
and sent us home...
(I'll be back to pay the bill when I get my SS check at the end of the month...)

all the way home, she complained...
and as soon as we got into the bedroom...
she started demanding food...

she's now gone back for 3rds...
been out in the last sunshine for a bit...
visited the cat box twice...
bathed herself & climbed into my arms for snuggling...

I think Fluff would have been fine if she had never returned...
(Queen of Everything that she is...)
but I'm so grateful to have her back...
and so obviously feeling better...
even if she did call me every bad name she knows on the way home...
twice...
oops... back for 4ths...

God is good... even to snarfy cats...

What a nice way to start the New Year! Even cats are God's creations and He does, indeed, care about them! I praise him with you!!

...A-men to that... it's also so nice to have a long-time association with a vet who is truly such a nice, caring person... to not only care about my animals but to allow me to postpone payment until later this month so I can pay my other bills too...
